RICS Home Survey – Level 3

A full building survey gives you a meticulous report on the condition of a property. We’ll examine all accessible parts of the property, tell you what condition they’re in and flag any current faults or potential problems. We’ll also tell you what seems to be causing them and how soon you’ll need to repair them.

This level of survey allows a detailed inspection and comprehensive report thereafter, setting out a description of the various elements, condition, any defects/concerns and advice on maintenance where appropriate. The idea being to give a strategic view as to the overall condition and suitability for purchase, rather than just a list of defects. Our reports are custom written to suit each instruction, based upon our own template but equivalent to RICS level 3.

The Process

Step 1 – Get a quote

Contact us by phone or email and provide details of the property you are looking to purchase. Confirm your requirements and any specific concerns you might have

Step 2 – Survey Inspection

If you are happy with the quote, we will arrange with the estate agent for access to carry out the survey and let you know once a date has been confirmed.

Step 3 – The Report

We aim to issue your report by email within 5-7 working days following the inspection. A printed copy is also available on request. We are more than happy to discuss the report findings with you if required.
