We’ve worked with the National Trust for a number of years and were a natural fit when they wanted to restore the cottage and give it a new life as a rental property.
As part of the specification of works, we had to balance dealing with the dampness adequately and respecting the original character. We used traditional materials and kept original features wherever possible, including a lovely original moulded timber partition.
We oversaw the project through to completion, handling building regulations, managing the project and administering the contract (keeping a close eye on costs and timings) and all the necessary health and safety requirements.
The result is a beautifully refurbished traditional cottage, already let and generating an income for our client.
